UTK IEEE Student Branch
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a professional society for those involved with engineering electronics and related disciplines. The student branch of IEEE here at the University of Tennessee serves the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students. UT has had an electrical engineering student society for 85 years (click here for student branch history). The UT section is part of the East TN section. Getting involved is easy! Upcoming Events
Thur. Feb. 25th - Eastman Tour - The IEEE is working with Eastman Chemical Co. to coordinate a tour of their facilities. The tentative plan so far is to depart en masse from UT at approximately 12:00pm (~2 hour drive), attend the tour from 2:30pm to 3:30pm,and then listen in on some technical presentations and speakers from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
